Information You Submit
Queries Sent to Search Providers
A name or location entered into a search box is transmitted to the third-party company that operates the tool. Christian County Recent Arrests does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy controls its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or contact-form message may be kept long enough to understand and answer the request. We do not share a message outside the organization unless doing so is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine logs and measurement tools may receive basic technical facts when a page loads, including:
- The visitor’s IP address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when supplied.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookie Use
Cookies help measure visits and understand how people use the site. A browser can reject or delete cookies, although blocking them may change how some functions work.
Purposes for Using Data
Collected data supports a limited set of operating needs:
- Keeping pages available and responsive.
- Sending a search request to the selected partner.
- Learning which material visitors find useful.
- Detecting and correcting technical faults.
- Displaying advertising that may reflect general interests.
Other Websites and Advertising
Links lead to sheriff rosters, booking resources, Missouri courts and corrections pages, government portals, and independent search providers. After a visitor follows a link, the destination’s own privacy notice applies.
Some advertising companies may measure activity across more than one website to select ads. That processing occurs on their systems and is governed by their terms.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be handled by:
- Search partners that process submitted queries.
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic.
- Advertising networks that deliver ads.
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access or misuse. No internet-connected service can promise perfect or breach-proof security, so transmission and storage always carry some risk.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may ask us to delete it through the contact page.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a person may:
- Ask for a copy of personal data we retain.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of retained personal data.
- Object to or opt out of certain processing.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A new version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
